2020: Initial Implementation
  • First Installation: The client’s engineering and quality control teams, familiar with LT³ from previous projects, advocated for its installation. 2021: New Feature
  • IndividualTarget Mode: After a year of success, Letico developed and introduced LT³’s IndividualTarget Mode, which adjusts product weight by tracking the position of each piece in the cutting sequence. This innovation enabled the client to comply with a zero-underweight policy while maintaining precision. The result was an optimized cutting process, improving portion consistency while generating cost savings. 2022: Facility-Wide Expansion
  • Expansion: By 2022, LT³ was installed on multiple lines across the client’s facilities, optimizing production for various products. LT³’s real-time data collection and advanced analytics significantly reduced waste and operational costs.
2022: New Feature
  • MilkMonitor Mode: Letico continued to enhance LT³’s functionality with features like MilkMonitor Mode, introduced at the third facility. This feature integrated data from a milk analyzer, offering 15-minute snapshots of key properties like fat, salt, humidity, and protein levels, improving quality control and yield. The key in this case was timing: LT³ results were instantaneous, allowing operators to act on the data, whereas results from the previous manual system were only available the next day.
2024–2025 and onward: Scaling Across Multiple Facilities
  • Expansion: Currently, the client has LT³ running in multiple facilities and is collecting data from several scales. With each installation, LT³’s real-time data enables the client to detect production anomalies and implement timely corrections, further improving operational efficiency.
  • Going forward: The client continues to expand its use of LT³.
